Julian Smith has been the Conservative Party MP for Skipton and Ripon since 2010.[1] He was re-elected with a majority of 20,761 in the May 2015 general election. [2]
He was appointed assistant government whip (HM Treasury) on 13 May 2015 following the UK general election. [3]
