Deirdre Brock has been the Scottish National Party Member of Parliament (MP) for Edinburgh North and Leith since May 2015.[1]
Brock defeated the Labour Party's Mark Lazarowicz, who had held the seat since 2001, in the 2015 general election by 5,597 votes.[2]
In the same month, Ms Brock was appointed Shadow SNP Westminster Group Leader and liaison with the Scottish Parliament and Government. [3]
