Lord Hutton of Furness, full name John Matthew Patrick Hutton , served as the Labour Member of Parliament for Barrow and Furness from 1992 until 2010.
He was made a life peer on the 27 June 2010, as Baron Hutton of Furness, sitting as a Labour member.
He is also the current Chairman of the Royal United Services Institute.[1]
