Robert Syms has been the Conservative Party MP for Poole since 1997. Syms served as vice-chairman of the Conservative Party in 2001-2. He was appointed an assistant whip in 2012.[1] He left the Government in October 2013.[2]
In the 2015 general election Syms was re-elected with a majority of 15,789. [3]
