Mims Davies is the Conservative Party MP for Eastleigh. In the 2015 general election, Davies successfully overturned a previous Liberal Democrats majority. [1]
In gaining 42% of the vote and a majority of 9,147, Davies has ensured that a seat which has been in the hands of the Liberal Democrats since 1994 is now a Conservative seat with a strong majority. [2] Just one of a number of seats that helped to ensure that the Tories gained an absolute majority in Parliament.
