Chloe Dalton is special adviser to William Hague MP and first secretary of state/ leader of the House of Commons.
A political adviser who transferred to Whitehall, Dalton is the daughter of the former UK ambassador to Libya and Iran, Sir Richard Dalton. Dalton is said to be an "expert on the region, she has the knack of channelling “pure Hague” into speeches." [1]
As a special adviser to Mr Hague, Dalton is paid an annual salary of £64,500. [2]
