Simon Townsend is the CEO of Enterprise Inns.
Career
Townsend joined pub company Enterprise Inns in 1999, was appointed to the board in 2000 and appointed CEO in 2014.
He has previously worked at Whitbread PLC, Allied Domecq PLC, Rank Group plc and Marston, Thompson & Evershed PLC.[1]
Letter to the Telegraph
On 1 April 2015 Townsend was one of 103 business leaders who wrote to the Telegraph praising the British Conservative Party's economic policies and claiming a Labour government would 'threaten jobs and deter investment' in the UK.[2]
