Llin Golding (Baroness Golding) is a life peer in the House of Lords. She became a Labour Party member of the Lords in October 2001. [1]
Baroness Golding qualified as a radiographer and went on to work in the NHS for a number of years. She currently serves as Patron of the Society of Radiographers.
She then went on to be the MP for Newcastle-under-Lyme from 1986 to 2001, having replaced her husband John Golding. After stepping down at the 2001 general election she was created a Life peer as Baroness Golding, of Newcastle-under-Lyme in the County of Staffordshire in the same year.
