Security Studies is an academic peer reviewed journal that was founded in 1991 and is published quarterly. All articles in this journal undergo editorial screening and double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers. [1]
The journal publishes articles that are said to challenge the conventional wisdom in the area of international security studies. [1]
The journal includes a wide range of topics ranging from nuclear proliferation and deterrence, civil-military relations, strategic culture, ethnic conflicts and their resolution, epidemics and national security, democracy and foreign-policy decision making, developments in qualitative and multi-method research, and the future of security studies.
