James Gordon (Lord Gordon of Strathblane) is a life peer in the House of Lords. He became a Labour Party member of the Lords in October 1997. [1]

Gordon previously held positions as Chair of the Scottish Tourist Board from 1998-2001, Chair of the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre from 1984-1989. He has also worked as a Member of Court at the University of Glasgow and as a Member of the Scottish Development Agency. [1]
