In January 2005 Anne Rose Lambers, former assistant to MEP Hartmut Nassauer, joined CEFIC as legal counsellor. MEP Hartmut Nassauer had embraced almost all industry proposals presented by CEFIC: he negotiated an appreciable weakening of the REACH proposal before its first plenary vote. CEFIC is an organisation which represents the chemicals industry in the EU.[1]
