Catherine MacLeod is a former special adviser to the chancellor of the exchequer Alistair Darling. She worked for him from 2007 and 2010 in the Treasury. [1] MacLeod used to be the UK political editor of the Herald Newspaper before she joined Darling in 2007. [2]

McLeod is now working for Catherine MacLeod Communications as a consultant. A role which she has filled since leaving Government in 2011. [3]
