Jonathan Pearse is a political adviser to the leader of the opposition Ed Miliband, the chief whip's office and the House of Lords. [1]

Background

Pearse has worked for the Labour Party for a number of years, with his roles focused on assistance and advice.

He has served as a special adviser to the leader of the House of Lords from 2007 till 2010. Before this, he was assistant political secretary to 10 Downing Street, as well as a political assistant. [1]

Pearse has also carried out the role of parliamentary assistant to the Office of Tony Blair. [1]
