Jonathan Oliver was political editor of the Sunday Times from December 2007 until July 2010. He joined lobbying consultancy TLG Communications as director of media relations in September 2010.
As deputy political editor at the Mail on Sunday, Oliver broke the Labour Party donor scandal story and the news that Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor had sacked his press officer for being gay, for which he won Stonewall's journalist of the year award.
Oliver left TLG in 2011 to become group director of media relations at the Prudential plc.[1]
