- Michael Pinto-Duschinsky International consultant for numerous democracy organizations and development institutions, among them International IDEA, the British Know How Fund, the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, National Endowment for Democracy, IFES, the Inter-American Development Bank, UNDP, USAID, OECD, the Council of Europe, and the Canadian International Development Agency; author of scholarly books and articles on political and electoral processes; expert on campaign financing.
From an author biography in one of his articles:
- Dr Michael Pinto-Duschinsky, senior research fellow in politics at Brunel University, was a consultant to the Home Office in 1985-6 on problems of electoral registration in England and Wales. He gave evidence in 1998 to the Fifth Enquiry of the Committee on Standards in Public Life. He has twice acted as a consultant to the Electoral Commission. He is a member of the board of directors of IFES (International Foundation for Election Systems), chairs the International Political Science Association's research committee on political finance and political corruption and currently is a consultant on issues relating to political financing to the anti-corruption authority of Latvia (on behalf of the European Union) and the World Bank Institute.[1](pdf)
