Matthew Hancock has been the Conservative MP for West Suffolk since 2010. In 2012, he was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department for Education) (Jointly with the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills).[1] In October 2013, he was promoted to Minister of State in the same departments.[2]
In July 2014, he was appointed asMinister of State at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, Minister of State at the Department of Energy and Climate Change and Minister of State for Portsmouth.[3]
