Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, commonly known simply as Sandhurst, is a British military academy where British army officers receive their initial training.
Origins and history
The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst was formed in 1947. It was descended from two older institutions, the Royal Military Academy and the Royal Military College.[1]
