The Bosnian Solidarity Campaign was founded in July 1995 by Four British organisations - Workers Aid for Bosnia, the Jewish Socialist Group, the Alliance to defend Bosnia-Herzegovina, and the Muslim Solidarity Committee. According to the campaign's archived website, 'Two mass marches were organised through the streets of London, on 19 July and 7 August 1995, behind the the main slogan, 'Stop the rape of Bosnia!', protesters demanded the lifting of the arms embargo against Bosnia, and an end to genocide.'[1]
