Carey Olsen is described as "one of the most dominant law firms in the Channel Islands with more than 140 lawyers in offices in Guernsey, Jersey and London".[1]
It has been labeled a member of the "Offshore Magic Circle".
In January 2008, Carey Olsen announced a "best friends" relationship with Maples and Calder, another law firm specialising in offshore, advising on the laws of the Cayman Islands, Ireland and the British Virgin Islands.[2]
