Steven Harkins is a PhD candidate and tutor in journalism at the University of Sheffield. Formerly a researcher and tutor in Sociology at the School of School of Applied Social Science at the University of Strathclyde. He has been a researcher for Powerbase since 2008 and is currently working on the British International Studies Association’s ‘Teaching about Terrorism’ project.
