Background
Ansaldo Nucleare is a nuclear energy company created in 1989 as an independent branch in the Finmeccanica Group. In December 1999 Ansaldo Nucleare was incorporated by Ansaldo Energia S.p.A, a company belonging 100% to theFINMECCANICA Group, as a Division. From November 2005 Ansaldo Nucleare became a separate company, though fully controlled by Ansaldo Energia.
