Terje Svabo is the director of Civita. previous to this position he had a career in journalism, beginning with Aftenposten in 1978 where he was head of both the political and foreign offices, corresponding to East Asia. He then began reporting for a norweigan news channel NRK-TV and followed on by hosting a debate program. Previous to his current position, Svabo was a senior consultant for the communication firm Dinamo.[1].
