Dr Trevor Stammers is a moral conservative activist, practicing GP for over thirty year and Programme Director in Bioethics and Medical Law at Queen Mary University College.[1] He was Chair of the Christian Medical Fellowship in 2007[2] and is a long time trustee of the Family Education Trust.[3]
In 2010 he presented an edition of the Channel Four series 4though.tv, two minute opinion slots. Channel Four stated that 'Dr Trevor Stammers is a Christian who has been a practising GP for over 30 years. He refuses to personally refer women for abortions and believes there is a growing uneasiness in the medical profession about the vast numbers of abortions performed simply because women see children as a "social inconvenience".[4]
