Constellation Wines Australia and Europe was renamed Accolade Wines after being bought by its new owner, Sydney-based Champ Private Equity. Champ now owns 80 per cent of the firm after making an investment of AU$290 million.
Constellation Wines chief executive Troy Christensen and team remain at the helm of the company that include brands such as Australian brands Hardys and Banrock Station, South African Fish Hoek and Echo Falls from America.
