Jürgen Habermas

Jürgen Habermas (born June 18, 1929) is a German critical theorist and philosopher. He is perhaps best known for his theory on the concepts of 'communicative rationality' and the 'public sphere'. His most highly cited works include Knowledge and human Interests, The theory of communicative action Vol 1 and 2, The structural transformation of the public sphere: An inquiry into a category of bourgeois society and Legitimation crisis.
