Brent Scowcroft (born March 19, 1925) was a lieutenant general in the United States Air Force, and National Security Advisor to Presidents Gerald Ford and George H. W. Bush.[1] He is the founder and current president of The Scowcroft Group, an international business consulting firm.
He was educated at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he received his undergraduate degree and his commission to the Army Air Forces. He has also gained a M.A. and a Ph.D. in international relations from Columbia University.
