Liam Aylward, MEP

Liam Aylward (born 27 September 1952, Kilkenny) has been an Irish MEP for East from Fianna Fáil for the last two terms (20.07.2004 - 13.07.2009 and since 14.07.2009).[1]


He has been named on the French honours list for the year 2008 for his achievements "on the broader European political stage." This is the highest honour that the French Government can give to a non-French national.[2]
