The Health4Schools programme is a Gloucestershire based project operating in a number of (?)
 
primary schools within the region.
 
The purpose of the project, according to the literature is to educate teachers and parents/guardians regarding their charges diets. This project is primarily funded by the MultiNational concern Kraft Foods.
 
 
 
 
 
For more than a hundred years Kraft has produced a huge selection of food and beverage products and supply these brands to  150 countries around the world.Many of these brands are well known household names from a huge portfolio of products including Kenco, Philadelphia, Dairylea and Terry's Chocolate Orange.
 
 
 
The company claims to be interested in a number of community based projects complemented by sponsorship and charitable programmes. The company also claims to be environmentally aware with emphasis on strong principles regarding the treatment of its suppliers and employees worldwide. 
 
 
 
The company’s stock (NYSE: KFT) is listed on the S&P 100 as well as the Dow Jones and Ethibel Sustainability Indexes.
 
 
 
Kraft foods was previously regaistered as Kraft Jacobs Suchard (06/04/00) then General Foods until 06/01/1995 and is currently registered as Kraft Foods UK Limited.
 
Number of employers in the UK has dropped from 2327 in 2004 to 1447 in 2007.
 
The principle activities are the manufacture and distribution of coffee and coffee substituttes, manufactire of cocoa and chocolate confectionary and butter and cheese production
 
 
 
In February 2010 it completed its takeover of Cadbury after 71.1% of the shareholder favoured the deal.

Rob Rees is a former chef, restaurateur and former board member of the Food Standards Agency. He chairs Kraft's Health4schools project and is a trustee for the British Nutrition Foundation. He Chairs the SW Delivering Group for the Year of Food and Farming, the GOSW Transforming School Food Group and Stroud Educational Business Partnership. He is Director of 2 Companies Rob Rees Consulting Ltd, The Cotswold Chef Ltd. Rees is also a Member of the Food Standards Agency Advisory Committee on Microbiological Safety of Food and the Ambassador for Gloucestershire Food Vision. He was awarded an MBE in 2005 for Services to the Food Industry and the Image of Britain Award in 2006.
