According to their website, The Airfields Environment Trust "works constructively with airlines, airports, regulatory bodies, academic specialists, manufacturers and other environmental bodies, to promote a sustainable future for aviation."[1] It is situated in Broken Wharf House.[2]
Funding
"The work of the AET is supported entirely by grants and public donations. We would like to thank the following for their current and on-going support of the organisation and its projects:
The Aviation and Environment Databank was made possible with the support of the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation and the Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Pye's Charitable Settlement. Contributions to this project were also received from the P F Charitable Trust, TSCC, the Ellis Campbell Charitable Foundation, the Butler Charitable Trust, the Dulverton Trust and the Pittecroft Trust."[3]
