Adderall is an amphetamine prescribed for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Adderall, a highly controlled substance, works to help people with ADD and ADHD stay focused and calm. When people without these disorders use it, Adderall works like a stimulant[1]. The drug was introduced to the market to help treat ADHD in 1994 by Richwood Pharmaceuticals Inc[2].
