The communications and security systems corporation Telent was formerly the business arm of Marconi Corporation. Telent was created in 2006.[1] Telent is a communications and security systems corporation.[2]

1900: GEC was floated as a public limited company.[5]

1961: GEC took over Radio and Allied Industries.[6]
