Mark Williams is the chairman of [[Tea Party Express]] and a leader of the movement against the so-called '[[Ground Zero Mosque]]'. Williams and his group were expelled from the National Tea Party Federation over a 'clearly offensive' fictional letter Williams wrote on his blog from "Colored People" to Abraham Lincoln. The letter read:

:Dear Mr. Lincoln, We Coloreds have taken a vote and decided that we don't cotton to that whole emancipation thing. Freedom means having to work for real, think for ourselves, and take consequences along with the rewards.
