The '''All-Party Parliamentary Group for Food and Drink Manufacturing''' (APPGFDM) was formed to represent the food and drink manufacturing industry in Parliament. ==Purpose==
The APPGFDM was set up 'with an intention to': 
*counter incorrect and misleading information and statements in Parliament about the food and drink manufacturing industry 
*act as a critical friend to the industry by facilitating an important dialogue between Parliamentarians and industry representatives and raising issues that APPG members believe industry should address
*provide a point of reference for any parliamentarian looking to understand aspects of food and drink manufacturing 
*develop productive working relationships with other relevant APPGs where there is a common interest in issue impacting the UK food chain
