[[Peter Fisher]] joined the [[Financial Services Authority]] Board in January 2007. He is currently a Managing Director of [[BlackRock]], Inc., and Chairman of [[BlackRock Asia]].

Previously Peter served as Under Secretary for Domestic Finance, [[US Department of Treasury]] and as Executive Vice President of the [[Federal Reserve Bank of New York]].

Peter is also a member of the Board of the [[Episcopal Church Foundation]] in New York and serves as a member of the [[Strategic Committee of Agence France Tresor]] in Paris. Peter graduated from [[Harvard Law School]] in 1985.{{ref|1}}
