Uta Jensen-Korte

Uta Jensen-Korte worked for 14 years at the chemical company Bayer AG and then for 7 years as a lobbyist at Cefic, an organisation which represents the EU chemicals industry. At Cefic she rose to the position of Director for Chemicals Policy and Regulatory Affairs. In November 2004 she moved to the REACH Unit of DG Enterprise and Industry.[1]


Background

Education

She holds a Doctorate degree in Organic Chemistry at the University of Münster (Germany). She stayed at the University of California , Los Angeles (UCLA) for one and a half years as a Post-Graduate Fellow.
