Rabbi Shyne and Dr. Adler Lodge of the Grand Order of Israel and the Shield of David was installed in 1940.
- Bro. M. Goldfush, assisted by Bro. Ash, presided at the annual meeting and installation of the Rabbi Shyne and Dr. Adler Lodge of the Grand Order of Israel and Shield of David held recently. Bro. A. Benjamin, of the Odessa Lodge, Glasgow, installed the following: Bros Ash, Noble Master; Stein, Vice-Master; Stern. Treasurer; L. Benjamin, Hon. Secretary: and Abrahams Trustee.[1]
- Bernard Glasser Bernard served for decades as a senior Trustee and leader of the Lodge. He married Jessie Glasser (née Shyne)
