Sexual harassment allegations
Channel 4 News ran a report on Lord Rennard on 21 February 2013, alleging a history of sexual harassment during his time as an official of the party. He has strongly denied the allegations.
The Lib Dem's chief executive, Tim Gordon, announced that he had appointed Alistair Webster QC, a senior Liberal Democrat, to lead the formal internal investigation under the party's disciplinary rules into the specific allegations made about Rennard's behaviour. [1]
