Dorothée D’Herde is an Account Director at public affairs consultancy GPlus. Dorothée specialises in environmental, transport and trade issues as well as financial services policy. Since joining GPlus in September 2004, she has been advising a leading global car maker as well as a major pan-European insurance group on political and strategic communications and corporate reputation. Dorothée has also gained competition experience advising clients on external and internal communications around a number of cartels, mergers and Intellectual Property cases.

Dorothée joined GPlus from the private office of the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Patrick Dewael, where she was working directly with the Head of Office and the Advisor on European Affairs and covering a number of international and European dossiers.

Previously, she was a Project Coordinator at the Network of European Foundations, a platform organisation which promotes cooperation between European foundations. Dorothée has also worked at the spokesperson service of the European Commission, assisting the Spokesmen for Employment and Social Affairs, Regional Policy and Institutional Reform.[1]
