British Business Group

There are varoius British Business Groups set up around the world - particularly in the Arabian Gulf - which work to ensure British business interests are met. Typically BBGs are closely associated with the British Embassies and Consulates in the host country. Members normally include CEOs, Managing Directors, General Managers, Consultants, Embassy officials, etc and other expat businessmen and professionals working in the region.

British Business Group in Jeddah

The British Business Group BBG in Jeddah - which works closely with the British-Consulate - describes its aims and objectives as "primarily to further British business interests in the region" and to "provide an active business and social forum for members to meet, exchange ideas and contacts, learn about activities related to current business issues or projects and keep abreast of changes in Saudi business regulations"[1].
