Richard Ottaway was the Conservative Party member of Parliament (MP) for Croydon South from 1992 to 2015 and Nottingham North from 1983 to 1987.

Ottaway announced he would not stand in the 2015 general election, citing his age as the main reason.[1] He was replaced by Chris Philp, who held the seat.[2]
