Background

Merck Sharp & Dohme Limited is the UK subsidiary of Merck and Co. Inc.[1] It has two sites in the UK, its headquarters and pharmaceutical research and development laboratories in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire; and its manufacturing at Cramlington in Northumberland.
