Liz Sugg

Liz Sugg has been head of operations for Prime Minister David Cameron since 2010.[1] Sugg is a key long-time loyalist since opposition, having worked with Cameron since 2005. Sugg is described as running his life ‘on the road’ as director of operations. One diplomat says, “He totally respects Liz’s judgment. She’s got the PM’s ear and uses it wisely.” [2]

Her role mainly entails overseeing the Prime Ministers visits and trips. [3]

Sugg is on a salary of £80,000 a year for her role as head of operations for Mr Cameron. [4]

Background

Before moving to a position in managing media for the Conservative European MPs, Sugg worked for Sky News.[5] She later worked for Kenneth Clarke, the Conservative MP for Radcliffe.[6]
