Leave.EU is a self-proclaimed 'grassroots' movement which is part of the "out" campaign in the run up to Britain's referendum on its membership of the European Union, scheduled for the 23rd June 2016.

Along with 'Vote Leave', the group is vying to become the official "out" campaign group, and has attracted large amounts of funding from the likes of UKIP donor Arron Banks, property investor Richard Tice and media mogul Andrew Wigmore. [1]

The CEO of the group is Liz Bilney, although an article in Private Eye has claimed that Arron Banks controls the group's operation. Leave.EU's website claims that 'Together we can win back our country' and that 'a public "in the know", will say 'no' to the EU, and vote to leave in the referendum on EU membership'. [2]
