Kieran Simpson is a former special adviser to Labour[1] and currently the Head of Public Affairs for Scottish & Newcastle.
Background
Simpson joined the Scottish brewer Scottish & Newcastle in 2002. His current role includes responsibility for issues concerning legislation and regulation as well as those relating to alcohol policy. He is also responsible for the development and implementation of the company's Corporate Responsibility strategy.[2]. Kieran was appointed as a brewing representative on the Board of Directors in May 2004. He is S&N's representative on the Board of the International Center for Alcohol Policies, a member of the Scottish Ministerial Advisory Committee on Alcohol Problems (SMACAP) and a member of the Executive Board of the Brewers of Europe.
