Jake Sumner is current chief political adviser to Chuka Umunna, the Shadow Business Secretary.
Sumer was formerly political adviser to John Denham who has been the Member of Parliament for Southampton Itchen since 1992. Sumner served for Denham when he was the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government from 2009 to 2010. [1]
