Jake Sumner is current chief political adviser to Chuka Umunna, the Shadow Business Secretary.
Sumer was former political adviser to John Denham who is the Member of Parliament for Southampton Itchen, a role which he has filled since 1992. Sumner served for Denham when he was the Secretary of State for the Department of Communities and Local Government from 2009 to 2010. [1]
