OSS Morale Operations Branch

The Morale Operations Branch (MO) of the US intelligence agency, the Office of Strategic Services was formed in 1943. It split from the Special Operations Branch (SO) to perform the “black” propaganda mission left to OSS when it split from the Office of the Coordinator of Information COI had been split the previous year.[1]
