Alicia Boyd currently manages research and analysis at Glevum Associates. According to the Glevum web page she has over three years of experience implementing research in Iraq and Afghanistan, and she has 'overseen the planning, execution and analysis of tens of thousands of survey interviews and thousands of qualitative semi-structured interviews, focus groups and Subject Matter Expert research projects, all of which have been designed to enhance the U.S. government's and military's understanding of Iraqi and Afghan opinions and behaviors' [1].

Background

Ms. Boyd studied a Bachelor's degree in College of William and Mary and an Master's degree in Russian and East European Studies in The George Washington University. She is a former employee of Lincoln Group and the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) [2]. She has also worked as an analyst for the Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) which started as a small government contractor[3] and is now a Fortune 500 company offering a range of services and products to address technology-related needs in the areas of national security, energy, environment, critical infrastructure and health [4].
