Frederick Ponsonby (Lord Ponsonby of Shulbrede) is a Labour peer in the House of Lords, having joined on the 19 April 2000.

- Director, Rostneftegaz (private oil and gas company registered in Russia; not the state oil company)
When asked by the Wall Street Journal about his interests, Ponsonby said, "Both are private companies concerned with oil and gas exploration in Russia and are not state owned."[2]
