Frank King

General Sir Frank Douglas King. Served as British Army General Officer Commanding Northern Ireland, from February 1973 to August 1975.

General King's command in Northern Ireland coincided with the Ulster Workers Council strike. It was widely believed that he was not anxious for his troops to become involved in strike-breaking activities.
